Detroit is having a big comeback this days and more and more to come on the coming years for the next generation of Americans.
Detroit is getting more and more busier and more investors are coming back and workers from around the country.
-Recommended: Detroit Riverwalk, Belle Isle Park, Mangia restaurant, restaurant.com deals, Wyndham Garden Romulus (I wouldn’t pay more than about $50-$75 per night, and FYI the rooms had mini-fridges), day trips to the surrounding suburbs
-Not Recommended: Detroit Taco Factory truck, paying for parking (we always found free parking)
-Next Visit “To Do” List: Beacon Park, Motown Museum, cross bridge and visit Canada, The Heidelberg Project, The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant/Henry Ford Museum, Campus Martius Park, Milliken Harbor
-Overall, the city was nice, but I would mostly recommend it for short road trips, not longer trips or fly-in vacations. There were some highlights, but there were also some less appealing aspects. The city was laid out weird. A lot of things were shut down or construction was halted. It seemed like different races coexisted well in the city, but they didn’t seem very welcoming to commingling of races and biracial relationships.

In my FIRST EVER TRAVEL VLOG, I flew to Detroit, Michigan to visit for vacation and enjoy the last two weeks of summer 2018 before I head back to nursing school. If you haven’t watched my last vlog, let me update you: We are actually going to go to Ontario, Canada; Greenville, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; and South Bend Indiana via road tripping to these areas to take advantage of how close by they are and visit some family members of course. Once we arrived to Detroit, in the vlog, I talked about my travel experience and take you along the ride and how the day went as we sightsee downtown Detroit.
